Overview

Coordinates administrative operational and nursing activities for the clinic.

Works with staff and providers to ensure clinic workflow and productivity is maintained at target levels, and resources maximized for clinics and interdepartmental needs.

Oversees clinic staffing including burses, assistants, receptionist, ext. Oversees clinic appointments schedule, billing, collection of co-pay and other office procedures.

Provides leadership to a team-based clinic environment in order to ensure positive and productive workflows.

Collaborates with Clinic Administration to ensure objectives and standards are met for clinic operations.

Reports to Clinic Administration Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Is responsible for supervision of the nursing, lab, x-ray personnel and clerical staff employed by the clinic according to the clinic policy.
  • Annually reviews and updates clinic written policies
  • Conducts monthly clinical staff meetings and education programs.
  • Responsible for performance assessment, improvement, and sustainment of smooth, safe, effective and efficient clinical and operational standards and initiatives.
  • Oversees, requires and is responsible for daily application, adherence and acceptance of mission, vision and values at assigned clinics.
  • Manages clinic operations, workflow, and staffing for efficient, safe, smooth environment and quality patient care.
  • Ensures skills check off and competency training annually and on h8ire of all staff.
  • Collaborates with Administration, HR, physicians, vendors and customers, internal and external, to enhance patient flow and patient care resulting in continuous achievement of operational and patient care objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory policies and procedures, advisories and mandates.
  • Improves Customer experience with modeling and reform,
  • Supervises and provides direction to nursing and supports clinical, clerical and billing staff in assigned clinics ensuring quality patient care.
  • Collaborates with Administration on annual budget
  • Supervise cleaning and sterilization instrument and equipment.
  • Ensures appropriate medical, office and other supplies are maintained at appropriate supply levels in assigned clinics.
  • Oversees all day to day, month end, and all clinic operations, policies and procedures in accordance with hospital policy and procedures.
  • Communicate and advise clinic staff of any changes or updates to policy and procedure for smooth, efficient clinic operations.
  • Assistance with coordination of Population Health reports/ assignments.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Licensed personnel (RN, LON, ect.) Clinical skills will be supervised by Clinic Provider or Provider’s designee who is qualified to provide clinical supervision (APRN, RN, ect.)

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • 3 years pervious office/office supervision experience
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records
  • High School graduate ro equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, speak and collaborate in English
  • Must have excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all ream members and external resources and customer
  • Must provide outstanding patient care and customer service

Preferred: 

  • Associate degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Accounting, Information System, Medical or related field
  • Medical experience
  • Experience with eClincalWorks
