· Has a strong working knowledge of the NARMC EMS coverage area including all major highways and towns
· Knows the dispatch protocols and performs all included duties
· Keeps the dispatch area clean and organized at all times
· Is proactive in mentoring students, new hires and co-workers
· Employee has initiative, finds work, self-motivates, looks for ways to improve self and service
Experience:
Acquires CEU’s as per certification level
Degrees, Licensure and/or Certifications:
EMT Arkansas License is required
Must have valid Class D driver’s license
Must provide evidence of recertification of EMT certification bi-annually
BLS certification
National License is optional (preferred but not required)
Must have a copy of a diploma or offical transcript of the highest level of education
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrates professional growth through independent study
Demonstrates attendance at continuing education offerings EMS related
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
May require successful completion of a physical abilities test.
