  • Overview

    The basic task of a lab courier is to shuttle between medical testing facilities and the hospitals and offices that have ordered the tests.


    ·         Valid Class D drivers license in good standing with the State of Arkansas


    ·         Able to demonstrate good driving abilities and skills


    ·         Able to demonstrate good time management skills and work well without direct supervision


    ·         Criminal background check required


    ·         Adhere to schedule for Lab pick-ups, accommodating modifications as requested and approved


    ·         Deliver supplies as needed – minimally once a week


    ·         Verify pick up of specimens and delivery of supplies with a clinic


    ·         Mail delivery (internal and external) from NARMC to clinics


    ·         Deliver linens to clinics as needed


    ·         Deliver equipment to clinics as needed


    ·         Deliver sterile supply to clinics as needed


    ·        Maintains hospital vehicle adhering to service schedules and other maintenance issues as needed


    ·        Keeps vehicle clean and free of trash





    Minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent




    Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification:


    Valid Driver’s license


    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


    Liability insurance coverage that meets state minimum regulations

    Good driving record

    Able to lift and transport at least 20 pounds

    Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
