Coordinates and implements a human resources function in one specific area in human resources such as, wage and salary, benefits, or employment.
Reviews human resources documents and requests for compliance within established human resources policies and procedures
Implements transactions that are within policy
Directs exceptions to policy to the human resources manager or human resources director

Note:  This is an advanced level specializing in a human resources function. 


  • Prepares and processes all payroll salary changes including merit, base, transfer, market value changes and performance evaluations.
  • Prepares and processes 90/120 Day and Annual Performance based evaluations on all employees.
  • Maintains Position Control and Authorized hours.
  • Creates and generates reports for Director of Human Resources and Management Team members.
  • Creates and generates monthly report of Human Resources Performance measures.
  • Creates and generates bi-annual and annual reports for Insurance.
  • Completes and generates verifications of employment for employees.
  • Creates and generates monthly report of insured employees for Health Insurance Company.
  • Reports monthly employment statistics to the U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics.
  • Reports all new hire information to the State of Arkansas, via Internet every 20 days.
  • Maintains and orders office and operating supplies, work orders and time badge supplies.
  • Maintains employee files, answers telephone, assists customers and makes time badges.
  • Assists with employee procurement, reference checks, sign up appointments and processing of new employees, prepares and mails out recruitment packets, assists with benefit and policy questions and processes.
  • Maintains and updates job codes, wage scales, department codes, authorized hours and position control.
  • Assists with Wage Survey questionnaires for competitive employee wages.
  • Assists Directors/Managers with policies and procedures of Human Resources.
  • Responsible for assuring certain activities necessary for the efficient operation of the office are accomplished. Requires a high degree of responsibility and confidentiality in performance of various skills, typing and clerical functions’. Communication with professional staff, hospital personnel and the public.








Associate's degree

 Bachelor's degree


1 - 2 years experience in Human Resources


Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification:



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient with computers and software

Organizational and time management skills

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
